For more than seven years Community Development Management Partnerships Consulting Services (CDMP) has provided high quality, cost effective services that help nonprofit, for-profit and governmental entities revitalize low income/distressed urban areas and neighborhoods. While these emerging urban markets face numerous challenges, they also offer numerous opportunities:
- The high level of unemployed and under-employed residents represents a significant untapped labor pool that can be trained to fill jobs that are currently being shipped overseas.
- Unmet product and service needs in these neighborhoods represent opportunities for business development—including opportunities for area residents to start businesses that serve their communities.
CDMP uses proven comprehensive planning and revitalization approaches from around the nation to address labor and consumer needs in targeted neighborhoods. Addressing these needs serves as the catalyst for successful revitalization and improvement in the quality of life in the total community.
